1. Apply the NHS Change Model and integrate additional evidence-based tools (SEIPS, 5R, SCAMPER, stakeholder mapping, negotiation) to design and lead change with confidence.
2. Diagnose system-level contributors to current challenges using SEIPS and develop targeted improvements that maximise safety, quality, and staff wellbeing.
3. Navigate resistance effectively, understanding human reactions to change through the Justin Clarke 4-Door Model and identifying supportive behavioural strategies.
4. Influence and persuade stakeholders through ethical use of persuasion principles and negotiation techniques from Getting to Yes.
5. Develop clear, compelling change / business cases using the 5-R framework—ensuring that rationale, requirements, results, realities, and recommendations are concise and actionable.
6. Design a practical QI or service change project, ready to test or take forward in their local context, integrating all tools from the programme.
£6000 for a cohort of 20 (£300 per person) inc. travel and accommodation for facilitator (within England).
